Want to know what it’s like to work with Davis Timber Frame Company? Here's what our customers have to say about their experiences...read on!

"The floors are Brazilian Koa, and the arched doors are from New Mexico, Spanish Pueblo. Our doors are made from Douglas Fir and the lights in the Great Room (4) and the 1 in the Foyer are custom made for the house from an artist in New Mexico. Chris Patch [Davis Frame Production Manger] was helpful, as he chamfered the foyer beam specifically for the light and was able to send the artist the exact dimensions so the great room lights fit perfectly in the space. The railing around the balcony is custom made/forged by a local iron smith. Can you tell that I LOVE our house?"

"This spring (February 2008) will mark the 20th anniversary of your coming down to Middleburg to put up our Davis Timber Frame. Jeff, not a day goes by where either Kathy or I don't remark about the beauty of the frame and how it provides the "soul" of our home. Many, many thanks from us to you and your team."
Keith and Kathy Boi
"Thank you for your input with the designing and building of our fabulous Davis Frame home. There is no way that the house would look as pleasing as it does without your valuable advice and pertinent suggestions. We bought our original home 34 years ago and had no idea of what building a home involved. Your expertise and knowledge were welcomed throughout the planning and building and truly influenced the beauty and energy efficiency of this house. Your assistance with the timber framed screened-in porch extended the dimensions of the original plan and added another area to enjoy. People who visit us are awed with the overall look of the house and the roominess that a timber frame allows. We couldn't be more pleased with the house and thank you for all your contributions to its completion."
Sincerely, Len & Pat Kent

"My wife and I knew exactly what we wanted our new home to look like, but we were unable to find a plan or draw what we wanted. The patient, expert help of the designers and draftsmen for Davis Frame Company was exactly what we needed to be able to realize our dream."

The Cricco home demonstrates clearly that high quality timber framing is very compatible with many aspects of more formal finishes and furnishing. Stenciled walls, interior french doors, tile flooring, cherry cabinets and a baby grand piano co-exist harmoniously with the elegantly joined, oiled and chamfered frame of straight grained Douglas fir.

Their home overlooks a panoramic view of the Hudson Valley and outerlying Catskill Mountains which can be seen year round from atop an intricately-framed cupola. The home is located near the exact spot on Sunset Ridge where legend has it FDR spent many hours in quiet contemplation while watching the sun set slowly behind the Catskills. |

"Things we were happy with: ... (Independent Representative) Steve Petty! We could not have done this job without Steve, and he demonstrated the utmost professionalism at all times ... Our visits to Claremont and interactions with Jeff and the team were good experiences. These experiences provided the level of comfort we needed to make the decision to go with DF ... All in all, this was a big and complicated project, and we love the final result. We would recommend Davis Frame and Steve Petty to anyone considering building a custom timberframe home. Everyone who comes here loves the house."
