Dave and Jackie Dewey are Independent Representatives for Davis Frame Company covering coastal New Hampshire and Southern Maine. The Dewey's built their own Davis Frame timber frame home in York, Maine in 2009. With 25 years in the building industry and hands-on experience, they are ready to assist you in building your new post and beam home!

Dave and Jackie have been acquainted with Davis Frame Company for several years, first as clients. The Dewey's did a comprehensive study of many timber frame companies prior to selecting Davis Frame to construct their new home in York, Maine. Davis Frame's attention to detail in the timber frame members, as well as their warm and receptive attitude convinced the Dewey's that the end result would be what they envisioned.

The Dewey's offer invaluable experience since they have been through the timber frame building process, from selecting a timber frame company to the design and building of their home. The couple worked with Davis Frame's design team to create a design that would suit their needs. They also acted as their own general contractor and did everything except for the foundation work and the erecting of the timber frame. Dave and Jackie also worked on their new home's interior framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, installation of the hardwood floors, cabinets and even constructed the stone fireplace.

They are prepared to help you with all the important details to build your new timber frame home, starting with a site evaluation of your property. They will talk you through design ideas and will make sure building your new timber frame home is a smooth and rewarding experience.

Dave's background includes 25 plus years of building and renovating carpentry experience running his own remodeling company. His work is detail oriented and he is innovative when it comes to problem solving. Dave specialized in sun rooms, kitchens and exterior finishes.

In 1994 he began his volunteer experience as a founding board member of the Hartford, CT affiliate of Rebuilding Together, Inc., a nationwide non-profit organization that repairs the homes of low income elderly, disabled and families with children. He served as their board President for two years as well as serving on most of the committees. During the next 15 years, Dave worked hands on building and remodeling 15 homes and developed work scopes for over 200 others.

Jackie has been in partnership with Dave in the carpentry business all while being employed as a Human Resource Manager. For the last five years, Jackie and Dave were in the real estate business renovating houses in Connecticut. With this experience and all the decisions that must be made to build a new home, Jackie brings the ability to help evaluate your design for practicality and functionality.
