Last Fall, we worked with Ennis Construction, a contractor in Vermont on this new timeless timber frame home. The new Vermont timber frame home is nestled in the countryside of Windsor County, Vermont and features Douglas fir timbers throughout the home and is wrapped and insulated with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS), one of the most energy efficient ways to insulate your home today.
The timber frame home plan features 2,365 SF with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The main living area is 24’x32′ and features an open concept great room, dining room and kitchen. Off of the great room is a 24’x24′ master suite. The upstairs features vaulted ceilings and 2 spacious bedrooms and a shared bathroom. One bedroom features french doors that can be open to expand the view of the beautiful timbers in the great room.
