We’ve worked with many homeowners and builders to create the perfect hybrid design. Explore our two recent hybrid timber frame projects below.
This first hybrid timber frame we will highlight is a project we are working on with Ennis Construction, a builder located in Ascutney, Vermont on this hybrid timber frame. The client’s chose to add a timber frame foyer and great room, measuring 14′ x ’24’. The remainder of the home is being stick built on-site. This hybrid timber frame home is under construction right now and we will update as soon as we have more photos to share
Showcased above is a hybrid timber frame we shipped to Northern Vermont this past winter. We supplied the center collar tie timber frame for the center section and also prefabricated the 2x panelized walls for speedy construction. Our prefabrication allowed the builder, Tanguay Homes to build this house in record time. The house is almost move in after 6 months of construction! Below is a view of the first floor plan, showing where the timber frame is located (wherever there is an x with a box around it represents a timber post).
The beautiful exposed wooden beams can be enjoyed in the foyer, dining room and great room. This hybrid timber frame home is also located on the water and views of the lake can be captured in the kitchen, great room and master bedroom. We are excited to share more progress interior photos as we receive them, stay tuned!
